PROCESS ENGINEERING

IIF have gained vast experience in the fabrication and erection of high quality pipework in a variety of materials: Carbons, Stainless, Sterile Tubing, P.V.D.F., Chrome Alloys, Glass and lined pipe etc., all to international standards. Additional experience has been gained working on the revamps of existing systems within process units, involving the removal of redundant plant and piping, with subsequent fabrication and reinstatement.

A major area of company involvement has been the fabrication and erection of high pressure steam and auxiliary pipework for power generation plants. Involvement in this activity has been continuous since 1969. We have considerable experience in the erection and handling of a variety of equipment associated with the Process Industry, such as retractors, heat exchangers, dryers, centrifuges etc.

Extensive work has been undertaken on Mechanical Handling Plant with the erection of both screw, roller and belt conveyor systems. This has extended from the installation of simple conveying systems to the erection of systems for ship unloading and coal handling plant.

Sanitary Tubing: ASTM A 267/A 269. Prefabrication, Erection and Testing using our own inhouse "Enclosed Head" Orbital Welding Plants operated by trained IIF personnel.
